Music
Mr. Litwak
has represented platinum selling recording artists in all aspects
of their careers, including artists who have successfully branched
out into acting. He has also represented prominent music producers
who have produced for recording artists such as Destiny’s
Child, B2K, Omarion, Marques Houston and Ginuwine. Mr. Litwak has
negotiated recording and management agreements for artists who
have been signed (through production deals) to major record labels
such as Sony/BMG, Interscope/Geffen/A&M,
and Warner Music. He has represented recording artists who have
been signed (through production deals) to such labels as Elektra,
Atlantic, and Universal Music Group. Glenn also has experience
in negotiating music publishing deals with publishers such as
EMI Music, Zomba, and Notting Hill Music.
Mr. Litwak
has extensive experience and expertise in representing teen R&B/Pop
groups in all aspects of their careers, including the platinum
selling group “B2K” and “Immature” (which
later became “IMX”).
Film & TV
In the motion
picture field, Mr. Litwak represented ten individuals
involved in the 2004 hit movie “You Got Served,” including
the writer-director, five of the stars and two of the producers.
Glenn has prepared/negotiated option and literary purchase agreements,
life story rights agreements, non-disclosure agreements and has
been production legal counsel on a number of independent films.
He has also prepared/negotiated writer collaboration agreements,
merchandising agreements, and contracts involving soundtrack albums.
In television, Mr. Litwak has negotiated deals for actors on network
television shows. Furthermore, he has experience representing
actors, producers and directors of reality T.V. programs.
New Media
Mr. Litwak has represented content providers in preparing and negotiating Digital / Mobile Distribution Agreements. These contracts include representing recording artists in ringtone/ringback/wallpaper type deals as well as Digital Fan Clubs. In addition, Mr. Litwak has represented clients who produce short films for digital/mobile distribution.
Entertainment Litigation
Mr. Litwak
has handled over 100 trials and arbitrations over the last 28
years. Trials successfully handled by Mr. Litwak have appeared
in the “Verdicts and Settlements” section of the Los
Angeles Daily Journal, the largest legal newspaper in the country.
He has represented producers and documentary filmmakers in connection
with Entertainment Litigation. Some of these cases have been reported
in the press by the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Daily Journal,
and the Hollywood Reporter.
Glenn has
handled litigation for and against celebrities and has successfully
represented clients in a number of high profile entertainment
industry cases.
Real Estate, Business & General Civil Litigation
Mr. Litwak
has extensive experience in handling a wide variety of Civil Litigation
including breach of contract cases, fraud, unfair competition,
injunctive relief, copyright infringement and personal injury claims. Glenn also
has extensive experience in business and real estate related litigation.
He has represented real estate brokers, buyers, sellers, entrepreneurs,
retailers and manufacturers.
Glenn has been a licensed real estate
broker in California since 1988, and is the founder and President
of GTL Realty, Inc., a real estate brokerage company.
Teaching & Writing
Glenn is a frequent speaker at music, digital, and entertainment conferences around the country. He has spoken at the Urban Network Conference in Palm Springs, California, the "Get Seen Get Signed" Conference in Chicago and the Brand Access Forum in Los Angeles.
Mr. Litwak
has been a speaker at entertainment law seminars at UCLA Law School,
Loyola Law School, and for the California Lawyers for the Arts
and the California Alliance of Paralegal Associations. He conducts
a seminar entitled “Self Defense in the Music Industry”
at the UCLA Extension, Entertainment Studies Program.
Mr. Litwak
has been profiled in California Law Business Magazine (February
1998). He has also been interviewed on a number of television
shows including: Celebrity Justice, Inside Edition, “Xtra,”
and Fox Cable News.
Glenn was the keynote speaker at California Lawyers for the Arts annual Music Business seminar on October 28, 2007. In addition. Glenn taught his course, "Self-Defense in the Music Business" at the UCLA Extension on November 4, 2006. Glenn spoke on a panel at the Digital Music Conference in Miami on November 16, 2006.

and published an article in the International Documentary
Magazine. An article written by Mr. Litwak on Entertainment Law
